Si-o-se-pol (bridge of thirty-three Arches) is the largest bridge and one of the most famous tourist attractions on Zayanderud, a river located in Isfahan, Iran.
Since the late 2000s, this river has dried up for much of the year due to overexploitation of water and decreasing rainfall.
I was in Isfahan during the Iranian New Year holidays and took these photos. During this period, water drainage was increased to allow the river to flow through the city.
